Ear Training
Ear training is the key to success in Music Theory. Students should do this regularly to find success.

Theory Lessons
AP Theory will require a good working knowledge of music theory, such as reading in all clefs (treble, bass, alto, tenor), modes, rhythms, chord progressions, voice leadings, reading figured bass, etc. Here you'll find links to helpful websites for preparing for the course work.
- Gary Ewer's Easy Music Theory is a great free site with worksheets, quizzes, and worksheet answers to check your work. Scroll to the bottom to see a list of all the lessons.
- Teoria, music theory tutorials and exercises
- Free Music Theory Workbooks. We'll use some of these in class too.
- Some Harmonic Dictation Lessons. We'll start these in class.
